The Bazadaise cross very well over almost any breed of cattle. Recently we sent an 8 1/2 month old 2nd cross Bazadaise steer to the butchers. He was staight off his mum, out of the paddock with no supplement feeding and weighed in at 404 kg. He dressed at 261 kgs - that's 64.6 per cent off his full weight.
